Fibro Max
Fibro Test and Acti Test are surrogate markers of histological features in patients with chronic hepatitis B or C.
The Steato Test measures hepatic steatosis (triglyceride deposits in the liver) in patients with chronic hepatitis C or B, alcoholic liver disease and metabolic steatosis (overweight, diabetes, hyperlipidemia).
The Nash Test is diagnostic for non alcoholic steato hepatitis (NASH) in patients with metabolic steatosis (overweight, diabetes, hyperlipidemia).
The Ash Test measures alcoholic steato hepatitis (ASH) in patients with alcoholic liver disease.
It can achieve a 50% reduction in number of required liver biopsies.
Follow up of positive cases is recommended every 6 months.
The Fibro MAX combines alph2-macroglobulin, haptoglobin, apolipoprotein A1, total bilirubin, GGT, fasting glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, AST and ALT.
